I’m Amanda.

I am an embroidery artist living in North Carolina. Through trial and error, a lot of late nights, and googling pretty much everything I could think of I’ve been able to successfully build my embroidery business and make it my full time job.

If you’re anything like me, you’re more of a left-brained person…spreadsheets, numbers, and all the tech stuff is NOT why you decided to become an artist. You’ve probably always got ideas buzzing in your head about the next thing you want to make and you really don’t have the time to go down a rabbit hole researching about all the small details you’ve got to learn in order to build your business. Unfortunately these days, these are all a part of being an artist that you won’t be able to avoid.

I decided to make this blog to help other artists and creatives make money from their work. I try to keep things as concise and practical as possible around here so you can learn what you need to and then get back to creating. This blog focuses on tips and tutorials for selling on Etsy, how to draw traffic to your website through Pinterest marketing and blogging, and much much more.
